Embroidery ribbons for beginners: miniature with a flower

Many people want to try embroidering with ribbons, but are hesitant because it is difficult to independently choose the motive for the first embroidery experience with satin ribbons.

We bring to your attention a detailed master class on embroidery with ribbons for beginners. This small embroidered miniature can be decorated with a tablecloth, napkin, cosmetic bag and even clothes.

How to embroider a heart with silk ribbons: a master class for beginners

You will need:

Fabric: Cotton, Linen, Gabardine
Pink satin ribbon, 25 mm wide - 0.5 m
Green satin ribbon, 6 mm and 1 mm wide - 0.5 m each
Various threads
Beads, beads
Tapestry needle, scissors, lighter and hoop.

Step 1

Embroider stalks of stalks.

Step 2

Embroider "little stars" on the twigs, three small intersecting stitches.

Step 3

Embroider the central flower with a straight ribbon stitch with a puncture. Bring the tape to the front side, stepping back a little, pierce it and take it to the wrong side. Embroider all five flower petals with this seam.

Step 4

Sew the beads. You can choose them different in size.

Step 5

Embroider the foliage with the same stitch as the center flower.
Embroidery is ready!
