Sewn from a terry gauntlet and decorated with multi-colored shreds and bright buttons, a small handbag is sure to delight any girl.
You will need:
✽ small cotton and striped cotton fabrics
✽ decorative ribbons in fabric color
✽ wooden buttons with a diameter of 1.5 and 2.5 cm
✽ Terry bathing gauze 21 x 16 cm
✽ hand needle and thread for sewing
✽ glue for textiles
✽ iron
Step 1
Tear each fabric into three strips 4 x 50 cm in size. Iron the strips and remove excess threads.
Step 2
On each strip along one longitudinal side at a distance of approx. 1 cm sew large stitches manually. Strip strips to a length of 33 cm, and tie the ends of the threads into knots. Prepare six strips.
How to pick up fabric
Step 3
Glue a strip of fabric, starting from the bottom, with glue for textile around the entire circumference of the terry mitten. Glue the remaining strips above the lap, alternating the fabrics.
Step 4
Top strip to add decorative braid (34 cm long). For the handle, cut off part of the tape of the desired length and sew to the mitten on the sides. Sew buttons for decoration.
