Ipnot is the nickname of our today's heroine, which she received in childhood and under which she gained fame as an adult. Ipnot is a Japanese woman famous for her miniature, yet amazingly realistic voluminous embroidered works.
Ipnot learned to embroider in childhood, her grandmother helped her. Subsequently, Ipnot found her embroidery style using the French knot technique. She compares the principle of her work with the technique used by pointillist artists who paint with small dots.
