Beautiful, like a picture, cozy and soft - this baby blanket is useful for games and sleep.

YOU WILL NEED (size of a blanket 80 x 60 cm):
• pink linen approx. 1 m wide 140 cm • patterned cotton fabric approx. 0.35 m wide, 110 cm wide • flaps of linen and cotton fabrics are plain and with patterns of the appropriate color scheme, as well as old embroideries and / or items from old favorite clothing items • a fleece lining (cotton or synthetic) flap measuring 80 x 60 cm • matching thread colors for sewing, embroidery and quilt • embroidery needle with a wide eye • cutting mat, roller cutter, breadboard knife and ruler
CUT

Iron the fabrics. From the pink linen linen, cut out 2 rectangles 82 x 62 cm in size; put one rectangle for the underside of the blanket aside.
From a patterned cotton fabric, cut out a rectangle of 62 x 27 cm in size, and from different rags of fabrics, cut out squares of different sizes (from 8 x 8 cm to 20 x 20 cm). Pay attention to the fact that you should cut along the shared or transverse thread.
In the dimensions of the parts, allowances for seams 1 cm wide have already been taken into account.
TOP QUILTS
To make the top side of the blanket, lay a rectangle of patterned fabric on a rectangle of pink linen, combining 3 slices of a patterned rectangle with slices of a pink rectangle. Unscrew the fourth slice (longitudinal) of the patterned rectangle on the wrong side, 1 cm wide, and secure with pins (pin the pins perpendicular to the tucked slice).Sew open sections of the patterned fabric onto the linen with hand stitches or sew on the edge with a sewing machine. Iron the allowances along the contours of each square cut to the wrong side, 1 cm wide.
Place the squares on the upper side of the plaid, as shown in the photo or randomly, pin with pins and wash with thread for embroidery, performing a variety of manual seams (for example, the seam “forward needle”, the seam “goat”, etc.).ASSEMBLY OF BLANKETS
Lay out the fleece. In the middle, lay the top side of the blanket face up, straighten and chop 2 layers with pins.
On the top side of the blanket, lay down the bottom side of the blanket with the front side facing the front side, aligning all sections. chop the parts along the contours. Stitch the details (all 3 layers), leaving a small section open in the seam for you -
screwing. At the corners of the seam allowances, cut obliquely and twist the blanket. Sew open seam area manually.
Along the edges of the blanket and along the tucked edge of the patterned rectangle at a distance of approx. 1 cm, sew large quilts of “forward needle” stitches for the quilt, and, if desired, also along the edges of the sewn squares.
