On Friday, December 16, 2016, Aman Le Mélézin reopens its doors after eight months of extensive renovation.

The interiors of 19 rooms and suites have been completely renovated, three of which now have a large terrace and jacuzzi. The bar, lobby, reception and restaurant of the hotel were also transformed.
Located right at the foot of Courchevel's most famous track, Belcot, 1,850 meters above sea level, in the heart of the Three Valleys, Aman Le Mélézin is one of the resort's most famous hotels. There is a ski-in / ski-out option, with breathtaking views of pine forests and snow-capped mountains from the windows and terraces. Since its opening in 1992, this refined and elegant hotel has been a true home away from home, in a calm and warm atmosphere where guests can relax and unwind after a busy day on the slopes.
Due to large-scale reconstruction, the traditional French chateau, designed by designer Ed Tuttle 25 years ago, retained the charm of a historic house and acquired 19 updated rooms and suites. The interiors were completely rethought, everything was replaced, from carpets to ceilings, and furniture was custom-made. The design and decoration of the rooms used colors in harmony with the palette of alpine landscapes, as well as natural materials: oak, light beige marble in the bathrooms.

Two Ski Piste and Ski Piste suites have a spacious terrace and a separate hot tub with red cedar trim. A barrel-styled bathtub overlooking the picturesque mountainsides and snowy peaks is an ideal place to relax with a glass of champagne or with a cup of warm tea. Aman Le Mélézin offers the most advanced ski equipment you can buy or rent. In the hotel’s ski room, guests change into ski or snowboard boots and receive a bottle of water. If necessary, skiing or snowboarding will help convey to the track a hotel employee.
Aman Le Mélézin Spa with an indoor pool, jacuzzi, hammam and four treatment rooms is a great way to recover from a day on the slopes. Procedures specially designed for the ski climate nourish and moisturize the skin, soothe pain and relieve muscle tension. The spa menu includes various types of massages, facials, and hand and foot treatments.
