What all around is bright, beautiful, spring! Everything is pink - a basket, eggs and even bunnies!
PHOTO STAND (TANTAMARESCA)
A wonderful idea for an Easter photo shoot: a stand with a painted hare and a hole cut out in it for the face. The stand will be supported by an ordinary stool.
Size: 70 x 140 cm
YOU NEED: 1 canvas on a stretcher 70 x 140 cm in size (S. Kreul); 1 jar of black acrylic paint (C. Kreul); wide brush; breadboard knife; red tulle; hot glue.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: retake the motive on tracing paper and increase with the help of a photocopy to the size of the canvas. Transfer the enlarged motive to the canvas on a stretcher, outline the contours with black paint.
Carefully cut a hole for the face with a bread knife.
To tie a bow from a piece of tulle measuring 10 x 100 cm, fix the bow with hot-melt adhesive under the front neckline.
Stand for photographing on the back with a stool.
Dyed Eggs
To assemble such a collection is not difficult. To make hearts or stars appear on the eggs, use stickers. The intensity of the color depends on the amount of time the egg is immersed in the paint solution: the longer the exposure time to the paint, the brighter the color.
YOU NEED: white eggs, food color for eggs of any red color; Newspapers the spoon; an empty yogurt cup; vinegar; napkins; stickers in the shape of hearts and stars; sunflower oil.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: cover the work surface with newspapers. Dilute the paint in a yogurt cup according to the manufacturer's instructions. To paint evenly, add vinegar.
Using a spoon, lower the eggs alternately in the coloring solution. To obtain different shades, the exposure time of the paint should be different. The longer the exposure time, the more intense the color. For uniform coloring, eggs should be completely covered with a coloring solution, and from time to time they should be stirred.
For patterns in the form of hearts and stars, before painting on the eggs, stick the stickers and remove them only after the paint has dried. In these places the eggs will remain white. To shine, rub the colored eggs with sunflower oil.
EASTER BASKET
A bottle of spray paint, a luxurious linen bow - and the “magic” self-assembly basket for Easter dishes is ready!
YOU NEED: 1 wicker basket; 1 bottle of pink DUPLI-Color spray paint; pink linen flap, size 20 x 140 cm; matching thread for sewing; wire (Rayher).
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: in an open area spray the spray evenly on all sides from all sides. Leave the paint to dry completely.
For a linen bow, cut out 2 strips 7 x 140 cm in size and 2 strips 6 x 15 cm in size. Cut the ends of both long strips diagonally. Fold the long strips with their front sides and grind with allowances of 1 cm wide, while leaving on each long side in the seam open sections of a length of approx. 10 cm for twisting and threading the wire.Cut the seam allowances to a width of 5 mm, unscrew the strip, iron it. Stitch the edges of the strip at a distance of approx. 3 mm.
Through each open section in the seam (longitudinal edges), on both sides between the seam and the finishing stitch, insert a length of wire of approx. 140 cm. To sew both open sections of a seam manually.
Fold both short strips with their front sides, grind longitudinal sections with allowances of 1 cm wide.
Turn out the strip. Fold a long strip with a double bow and fix it on the handle of the basket with a short strip, rounding the middle of the bow with it.
Sew the ends of the short strip at the bottom with small hand stitches.
DECORATIVE EGG WITH BUTTONS
Not only real, but also decorative eggs are good for Easter. A large stuffed egg, decorated with a huge bow and a scattering of buttons, can be a wonderful holiday gift. The decor will look most effective if white buttons are sewn at the top, light pink in the middle, and dark or bright pink at the bottom.
Size: approx. 26 x 32 cm.
YOU WILL NEED: a flax linen flap of bright pink color 30 x 70 cm in size and a red linen flap flax 10 x 180 cm in size; poplin flap light pink in size 20 x 180 cm; OK. 120 buttons of white, pink and bright pink colors; matching thread for sewing; wire (Rayher); cotton wool for filling; tracing paper.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: reshape the egg pattern on tracing paper, increase by xerox to the desired size and cut. Transfer the enlarged pattern twice on a bright pink linen cloth, cut out the details with allowances 1 cm wide.
Sew buttons on one part, with white buttons at the top, pink buttons in the middle, and bright pink buttons at the bottom. Leave the edges of the part to a minimum width of 3 cm.
Fold both egg parts with their faces and grind with 1 cm wide allowances, leaving a section of approx. 10 cm for eversion. Remove the egg and fill it with cotton. Sew the open area of the seam manually.
Bow: for a bow of red linen and light pink poplin, cut 1 strip of 9 x 170 cm each. Also cut 2 stripes of 7 x 15 cm each from poplin. Cut the ends of both long stripes obliquely.
Fold the long strips with their front sides and grind with allowances of 1 cm wide, while leaving on each long side in the seam open sections of a length of approx. 10 cm for twisting and threading the wire. Cut the seam allowances to a width of 5 mm, unscrew the strip, iron it.
Stitch the edges of the strip at a distance of approx. 3 mm. Through each open section in the seam (longitudinal edges), on both sides between the seam and the finishing stitch, insert a length of wire of approx. 140 cm. To sew both open sections of a seam manually.
Fold both short stripes with their front sides, grind the longitudinal sections with allowances of 1 cm wide. Turn the strip out. Fold the long strip with a double bow, round the middle of the bow with a short strip. Sew the ends of the short strip on the back with small hand stitches.
Sew the finished bow on top of the egg.
