Small pieces of genuine leather or suede can be successfully used by stitching a small travel wallet from them, which is suitable for storing plastic cards, trifles and paper notes.
This miniature leather wallet will not take up much space in your purse and will be a great travel companion.
We sew from genuine leather
The wallet can be sewn not only from natural, but also from artificial leather or thin cork material.
What is cork fabric and what can be sewn from it
You will need:
- small pieces of genuine leather;
- cotton fabric;
- threads for sewing;
- flizofiks flizelin;
- zipper;
- tailor pins;
- ruler;
- scissors;
- clothes pegs;
- pencil
Dimensions of parts:
The main detail - 12.5x8.5 cm;
Large pocket - 12.5x7 cm;
The average pocket is 12.5x5.5 cm;
Small pocket - 12.5x4.5 cm;
We sew a purse with a clasp
Step 1
Apply the details of the pattern to pieces of leather and draw the contours with a pencil.
Step 2
Flizofiks iron to pieces of skin from the wrong side.
Cut out the details along the contours.
Cut a large part twice, cut out three small parts one at a time.
Step 3
Remove the paper base from the non-woven fabric and iron all the details to the cotton fabric and cut out.
Step 4
Stitch the three details of the pockets along the upper oblique edges.

Step 5
Stitch the zipper to the front main part.
Step 6
To the second braid of a zipper to grind the main back part.
Shorten the zipper tape to the desired length.
Step 7
Secure all three pockets with clothespins on the front part.
Fold the front and rear parts with the wrong sides to each other and grind close to the edge.
