Runny nose is a constant companion in the wet and cold season.

We try not to pay much attention to the stuffy nose or, conversely, the discharge. And when we are bored of constant inconvenience, discharge, shortness of breath, headache, we buy inexpensive drops at any pharmacy and solve the problem in one fell swoop. But what if sneezing, itching in the nose, constant stuffiness do not go away and turn into constant discomfort?
A prolonged runny nose (lasting more than a week) can have a lot of reasons: a reaction to certain irritants, an allergy, or getting used to the very over-the-counter nasal remedy that you use to get rid of a runny nose. Such drugs cause addiction quite often and can even exacerbate the initial runny nose. As a result, your nose cannot breathe without drops or spray!
It would seem that the drug copes with the task perfectly - shortly after instillation, breathing through the nose becomes free. But then the effect of the medicine ends, and the nose requires another portion, and in its absence, the mucous membrane swells and air intake is difficult. To remove the swelling, we again use drops. There is a vicious circle that needs to be broken, otherwise, in addition to chronic runny nose, you can also get into such troubles as bleeding due to bursting vessels, weakened sense of smell, fatigue, irritability, constant headaches due to narrowed blood vessels.
Doctors call this phenomenon drug rhinitis. The reason is the prolonged use of vasoconstrictor drops. But most of the drops that you will be offered in the pharmacy as effective remedies for the common cold are vasoconstrictor drugs.

Our task is to cope with addiction, cure a runny nose and find a safe alternative to vasoconstrictive drops. First, try to discard the drops. Try to increase the intervals between their use. And in between the drops, to facilitate breathing, use the Breathe Inhaler Adhesive. You may no longer need drops after using it.
The Breathing Plaster works due to the fact that essential oils evaporate from its surface, and you inhale them together with air. In other words, you use passive inhalation with the help of the Breathing patch in the most convenient and natural way.
What are the essential oils in the patch? There are five of them: mint, eucalyptus, fir, lavender and turpentine, as well as levomenthol. These essential oils, getting into the respiratory tract, reduce swelling of the mucosa, that is, help us breathe freely again. In addition, the essential oils of these plants kill bacteria and viruses in the airways. If they were the "culprits" of the common cold, then the Dyshi plaster will cope with this reason.
It is simple to apply the patch: just stick it on clothes (but not on the skin!) In the chest area and remove the protective film. The surface of the patch is saturated with essential oils, which immediately begin to evaporate. This action will last up to 8 hours. The patch can also be glued to any dry surface, for example, right at the workplace or next to the baby's bed. Yes, the Dyshi patch is also suitable for children, it can be used from the age of two.
Before using the patch, you can rinse the nasal cavity with saline or its analogues based on sea water. This will help reduce swelling quickly and make the patch more effective.

Another stage of "weaning" the body from drops is rubbing the feet with warming gels or ointments. You know this dependence: you wet your feet - a runny nose has begun. So, the opposite is also true: your legs warmed up - the runny nose has decreased! The fact is that the work of some organs is regulated, including by the nerve endings located in certain areas of the skin. Impact on these sites activates the work of this body. By rubbing your feet, you cause an improvement in blood circulation in the upper respiratory tract, including in the nose. And improving blood circulation will lead to a decrease in swelling of the mucosa. For grinding, you can use gels from the Breathe family.
In a few days, it will become noticeably easier for you. It will not work out in one day, but the condition of the nasal mucosa will improve. It will take some effort on your part, but if the mucous membrane is not yet atrophied due to prolonged use of the drugs, you will be able to defeat the addiction to the drops and will breathe again calmly.
In order not to fall into the trap of “saving” drops again, it is important to remember that harmless vasoconstrictor nasal drops and non-addictive sprays simply do not exist. Therefore, the next time, as soon as a runny nose has begun, use the methods already listed above: a plaster-inhaler for breathing, washing your nose, rubbing your feet.
And, of course, it is very important to strengthen the body before the season of colds. Temper, take vitamin and mineral complexes, often walk in the fresh air with the whole family.
